The Week Ahead: Week 36, 2026
Six items with converging momentum signals this week, led by QA Team T-Shirt at score 79/100.
Market Pulse: Fearful (25/100) · 31% of tracked items are up over 7 days
Market Pulse: Fearful (25/100) · 31% of 221 tracked items green over 7 days
The board this week is almost entirely a drawdown board. Five of our six top-scoring items got there by falling hard, not by rising — which is exactly what our contrarian price read is built to surface in a market like this one. Note also that our 7d listings-value aggregate is unavailable this issue; count provenance across the set isn't comparable, so treat the macro read as Pulse-only.
The dip cohort
Sweatband White — 72.5 · $0.18. A 64.7% seven-day drop is the largest on the board, and at 18 cents the move is as much a floor-listing artifact as a genuine repricing. The setup suggests a partial retrace if any bid returns at all; what would invalidate it is a second leg down on thin volume, which at this price point is entirely plausible and would tell us the drop was structural, not sentiment.
Easter Slippers 2025 — 76.4 · $3.98. Down 35.1% on the week, and the highest-priced C-rated name in the cohort. We're watching for stabilisation rather than recovery in the first few days; if listings keep stacking without absorption, the mean-reversion read fails.
Valentines Bear Trousers 2025 — 74.9 · $11.42. The most expensive item scoring well, off 30.2%. Higher price means fewer trades means noisier signal — likely a slower grind back if volume holds, but a single outlier sale either direction could distort the print entirely.
Scientist Shoes — 75.3 · $0.17 and Wizard Trousers — 71.6 · $2.30. Both around a 30% weekly decline with nothing else attached. Honestly, the rationale here is thin — one signal each, no scarcity or rating support — so we'd treat them as cohort confirmation rather than standalone watches.
The outlier
QA Team T-Shirt — 79.1. Still the only top item ranking on fundamentals rather than a fall: S-rated, scarcity 90/100. That combination has kept it near the top of this list for weeks, which is either durable or a sign our scarcity input is doing too much work.
Worth saying plainly: our price signal reads one regime, and that regime is falling. Five dip-buys clustering at the top is a description of a bruised market, not a forecast of a bottom. If Pulse breaks meaningfully above 30 this week, the contrarian read gets more interesting; if it doesn't, these drawdowns may simply continue.
